Vintage Stack for Tele question

I just entered the world of DIY guitar modification and have a basic question about installing an STK-T3b in my MIM Tele. Am I correct that the bare wire simply goes straight from the pickup to the underside of the bridge plate? If so, what is the best way to separate the wire out from the other four since they're all bundled together and the rest of them go down into the control cavity?

Howdy Lefty71,

Welcome to the forum!! I have a set of Vintage Stacks in my Tele. The wiring is easy. Like this:

1. Black wire goes to the switch.
2. Green & Bare wires go to ground (usually the voloume pot).
3. Red & White wires are connected to each other and taped off.

Here's a schematic.
