Hey guys.....

I want to hard wire the Vintage Stack I have in my Tele bridge to the power boost option.

Can anyone tell me which wires I have to solder together to make it happen?????

TIA...

Here ya go....

I have a question myself. I have done this wiring before; but it's been a few years. Would it make the tone any fatter or just louder?

So to do this without a switch I would tape off the black and run the red and white to hot??????

Its been awhile since I did this one myself. As I remember it tho,it made the pickup louder, maybe slightly fatter.

And of course, you loose the pickups ability to "buck the hum" so to speak.

is this true?
doesnt seem right to me ... seems to me you would jus tbe going from parallel to series, but still using two opposite wound coils, so it should still hum cancel

am i thinking about it wrong?

I got the initial diagram from Scott Miller. He's the one who initially gave the idea. He did say that you would lose the hum-canceling effect. I just redid the drawing a little more for my own understanding.
