Vintage style (Kluson) locking tuners for Fender

Who makes the vintage style locking tuners for Fender guitars? Are they Gotoh? Does anyone have a link?

For those that have them, how do you like them vs modern Schaller ones?

(Looking for left handed nickel/chrome)

The 3rd link has black, gold and chrome. There are several different styles to choose from, depending on the exact look you want. I had a set on a strat I sold a few years ago and they worked great. I dislike the big locking round knob on the back of most locking tuners, so the self locking posts are what I prefer personally. However, on my current strat I went with the vintage Callaham tuners, and I love them even more than locking tuners.

You cut your string to length, stick the end down the hole in the post then bend it 90 degrees along the slit in the top and then wind down. Not as quick as locking tuners, but they stay in tune for me amazingly well.

Thanks Jeff, but those are all right handed and I need left handed for this guitar.

I’ve got traditional style slotted ones on 5 guitars total. This one is my number 1 so it gets string changes more frequently, and the reverse headstock is a little challenging for some odd reason. Hence looking for left handed locking vintage style tuners.

Gotoh make them standard, with height adjustable posts (HAP), with lockers (M), or with HAP and lockers (HAP-M). I have used the HAP-Ms and loved them. They are on one of my Esquire builds now. There is a slight learning curve, but once you figure them out, they are great – easier/better than standard locking tuners IMO. I forgot where I bought them, but there are places that retail, or at least let you custom order, many possible combinations through E-Bay.

I have a set of the Gotoh Kluson style locking tuners on my Esquire as well. Great tuners, IMO. Not too heavy. In fact, from the specs on Stew Mac, between them and the non-locking Gotoh's, there's very little weight difference. I might slap a set on my Frankenstrat.
