Visiting Bogner Tomorrow!

I've owned my Bogner Ecstasy for about 6 years now, using it daily, but taking good care of it. It's actually one of the original ones that Reinhold made with a white chassis and all the options. It's now about 13 years old and has never given me any problem.....I bought it used. I have a feeling Reinhold will have a smile on his face when he sees one of his original brainchildren sitting on his bench. I think it was his 32nd Ecstasy.

Lately, it's been having a problem with the preamp's power source/heatsink, causing the preamp to shut down when it's running hot. It's biased perfectly, but there's probably a worn out component.

Luckily, I'm only 14 miles away from Bogner's facility and will get to meet Reinhold tomorrow and have him fix it. If only he'd read all the Bogner threads I've been in on here, he'd probably give me a new Duende head for free!!

Yeah Rite!!!! LOL One can dream.

Kool. While your there, tell him that they need to start making a really killer rackmount preamp again, like a 2-channel Fish.

The bogner "Store" is in the middle of nowhere in North Hollywood. The store doesnt even say Bogner on the outside so basically you need to hope you have the right address and just head on in. Luckily one of the guys is right in the front to let you know you're not at the machanics or something. Reinhold and the rest of the guys are all great and treat you with respect once inside though. Check out their warehouse of heads and cabs, its f'ing awesome!
