Valid point ... Now Artie tell 'em the downside to it (hint pup loading down further as volume is reduced) ... Also why not opt for 2 Meg pots (Torres carries 2 Meg pots, at least that would give you ~667k (I had to round that last number ya know ... he  works for the other guy ... :laugh2: ).Tom M said:That's how all Fender style multi-pickup basses are wired, so I don't see why not.

Might also be helpful if you put in something about a blender pot as well (unless that's covered). I have one on my strat and this takes out the middle tone control and that allows you to bring in the mid or neck pup.ArtieToo said:Actually, I initialy had this quite long-winded response prepared, and then I thought - we've covered this a lot recently. Surely these folks read the other posts that are related to their question.
Also, this has come up so often lately, I'm working on a detailed webpage that will cover all this. As soon as I get it done, I/we can just post a link to it.
I hope to have it done by this weekend.

Yes I was and it was a suggestion for Artie to consider putting on his web page so that anyone who wanted to could go there. But I have to say that I cannot remember it being done to death, unles it was in the pick up room?Kent S. said:If you are referring to the Fralin style blender then those have been done to death, as long as it's a no-load pot it won't present any problems in regard to load issues.
It's on Lindy's site ... yeah the done to death was a piss take though. I just meant that as long as it's a no-load design they won't be any problem or extra stuff to complicate it's application in a guitar ... or something like that anyway. The pan pot style balance control is one stew-macs site. That's also referred to as a blender control sometimes, and that can lead to confusion betwix the two.Norman_T said:Yes I was and it was a suggestion for Artie to consider putting on his web page so that anyone who wanted to could go there.
