Volume pot value

Guitar has no tone pot. Will a 1 meg volume pot increase volume,, just affect the tone or both.

Wont increase the actual volume you might perceive some of the extra high end that it lets through as volume though.

Great, I am not looking to increase the volume but I am looking to get a brighter neck tone from it. Thank you.
