Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+ Question

I'm getting one in the mail this week. Does anybody know if you can use non-line6 pedals in the line6 jacks? Also, are the sag jacks exactly the same as the asa ones as long as you keep the knobs on a non sag level? I don't really need sag.

Re: Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+ Question

Yup, the line 6 jacks can be used for regular pedals. Or for certain pedals that draw a bit more current, like the boss dual-pedals.

And as long as ya got the sag knobs turned all the way up, the sag outputs work exactly like all the others.

Re: Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+ Question

The 16v terminals on the PPII are normal, but the L6 CABLES ARE NOT.
Line 6 has reversed polarity cables and a slightly odd sized jack.

Voodoo Lab does something I consider stupid. They ship the PPII with only 1 Line 6 cable, even though the product has 2 L6 terminals. You simply Email Voodoo Lab and they'll supply you with 1 or 2 cables of your choice, if you need one that wasn't included with the unit.

However, you're wondering if you can power a pedal with the 16V terminal, and you can, but you have to use a regular cable, not the L6 one.
