I've heard nothing but negative things about Voodoo mods, in all honesty. Everyone I know who's had them mod an amp has liked it less than before they sent it off.

Not trying to be an ass, but have you tried any Trace modified stuff?
I ask because I have a DSL100, which I love, but I wonder what all the hype is about mods.
I am very happy about just plugging straight in. On HC forums, some said to get a Tube Screamer (I already had one but never really use it) and an EQ for the loop (I purchased a Boss EQ-20), but I haven't tried with these yet.
I'd be most interested in maybe upgrading the trannies or installing a choke, either of which I can do myself.
But I'd like to hear if these upgrades had a positive effect or not.

^^ Hmm... maybe a new input tranny would be nice for mine... that way I can take it with me when I go home... hmmm.... Looks like time to call up Tom or Andy is coming..

new member here. With a jvm 205h i am searching for some videos or sound clips that show a vodoo mod for my amp. I just got off the phone with vodoo and they dont have one so, i figure someone does. Any help would be greatly appreciated i just have a problem dropping another 8-900 on a leap of faith alone
