vox ac15 hand wired users please

hi,
on the vox ac15hw1 model, can the bias be changed???? is this done with a ajustment screw ???? if so where is the screw located in the amp???? thanks for your help guys,

Those dont bias! just pop the tubes in and rock. No bias needed.

cathode biased tubes dont need to be biased, they are self biasing

I've always found it odd that "fixed" bias amps are the ones you have to adjust.

yep. fixed bias you adjust the fixed bias point and cathode biased amps change the bias depending on tube conditions but its sure not intuitive

so even power tubes, my amp takes EL84's, so i can put any make of el84's and the bias self corrects ?????

you can swap preamp tubes in just about any amp ive heard of without issues.

in your amp you can swap to any el84 you want. some will sound better than others but you wont hurt a thing
