If you mic it it will do fine. I have found modelers and solidstate amps don't cut through the mix like a good tube amp.

Buy it, it is a great amp for the money. Tone just blows away everything else in this price range. If you are concerned about volume for gigging, you might look at the ad60vt head and a 2 or 4 speaker cab. I love my 50 so much thats going to be my next purchase. hope this helped.
