Vox Big Bad Wah . . . anyone ?

Re: Vox Big Bad Wah . . . anyone ?

How many wah-wah pedals are endorsed by Satriani anyway? :smack:

Seems like 1/2 out there have the sentence "used by Joe S. for his killer wah tone" or something in that nature.

Re: Vox Big Bad Wah . . . anyone ?

I tried one earlier this year... seemed pretty cool. There's certainly a bunch of different tones in there between the switchable inductors, voicing & wah types. The boost is engaged with only one of the types... or maybe it was the voicing. Whatever, it was cool. Had a pretty standard Vox/Crybaby feel to the throw...

If I needed to buy a wah tomorrow I'd probably consider grabbing it over a 535 or whatever. Never liked the Ibanez & Morley wahs... pretty much grew up with crybabies for whatever that tells 'ya!
