One of my friends had a really nice Vox Panther bass that I played for a bit. It seemed pretty solid.

NOTE: I have never heard of a guitar with a "purified" neck. Probably a typographical error of the word "purfled", referring to the ornamentation (i.e. binding) on the edges of the fingerboard.

A good friend from a band back in the day played a Vox Cougar Bass. SOunded good even though the neck was bent like an organic zucchini.
Lets face it - that thing sure looks hip. If you dont want it, ill send you 250 and maybe you can post it to Austalia for me!

Pretty much sums up those EKO-built Vox electric guitars from the Sixties. Crap but in an interesting way.
