Vox Night Train NT humming

So my Vox NT hums in triode mode only. You can play through it while it hums, and all of the hum disappears in pentode mode. I tried different cables and cabs, the hum in triode mode was still there. Is it time for a tube change?I f so, which one? Preamp tubes or power tubes?

Preamp tubes are not effected by triode and pentode modes. Best to swap out the power tubes and see if it resolves the issue. Strange that it would be in triode and not in pentode.

I will do that but I also got a feeling that there is an issue with the actual pentode ,triode switch. It seemed loose.
