That's another very cool amp! Years ago Bruce Egnater re-tweaked my Yamaha/Soldano 100 watt head into something much better....My other guitarist in our band has that amp now. He's been using it for several years and with 0 problems....Bruce knows his stuff!

I like it! I think my next amp purchase will be a Vox AC15H1TV though if I don't spring for a Bogner Duende.

Man that thing sounds amazing. I rarely, very very rarely hear an amp who's distortion I like, and that one's sounds perfect.

I have heard from a large sample size of members of TGP that the Night Train STOMPS the Rebel 20.

I will try to find the thread.

The 411 is that the Rebel 20 doesn't sound like 6V6s or EL84s, it sounds like it's own thing, which reportedly does not sound like the sounds most folks want to duplicate; and also that it's attenuation is substandard and it does not sound great at low volumes, nullifying the purpose of attenuation.

The Night Train NT15 sounds really good to me. I own a VOX AD15VT, made in Vietnam. I took note that the NT15 is manufactured in Vietnam, but the build quality has been acceptable on my Vietnam made AD15VT.
