I've been thinking lately and planning of acquiring 2 good multi effects - Vox Tonelab ST which is quite famous for its Amp Modeling then maybe after some time, the newly released Boss ME 25. I was wondering if I can cascade them and make good sound out of this combo. Knowing that the vox has a tube to make amp models sound warmer with 33 different amp models to choose from, I also have this new boss with the complete range of Modulation effects + Delays + Reverbs + Tap tempo features + phrase looper.
I can make a versatile system out of these two. Both will compensate (Ideally) for their weaknesses in the process. The main downfall here is the word "digital" but with the technology nowadays, everything seems to be going strong for modeling.
I don't know, maybe you can help me here. Maybe one of you guys already have both of them and could try it - then let me know how it goes..
Just look, for less than 200$ a unit, you could have a do-it-all system (for recording and also in a live setting)
I also like the Line 6 M9 as an alternative for the Boss but its pretty expensive.
