Vox Valvetronix

Re: Vox Valvetronix

I have the Ad100vt head.I'm pretty happy with it takes alot of tweaking but you can get some pretty righteous tones from it.it has more models and fx then i'll probably ever need.I might be on the hunt for a small all tube head in the future after the holidays when i have some expendable cash but I'll most likely hold onto it.

i have a ad50vt and it sounds like ass! the first 2 days i was amazed how good it sounded but after that I was remembering how my mesa rectifier sounded I was like **** this is a piece of ****! the cleans sound good though"

Re: Vox Valvetronix

You have to spend some time dialing in tones. Also, give it a try through an external cab rather than through the combo speaker.

Get off the mesa model. :D Seriously, that model sounds horrid. The best ones are the well, any one other than that one. :D

I agree. I really like the Soldano model. That's what I use for my heavy drive.

Me too. It's one of my favorites. The UK 80's is my rhythm patch and I use the AC15 and Tweed 4x10 too. I love how the amp takes pedals too.
