When I'd do the mods on those I'd build a buffered power supply and install a side mounted dc jack...Neat and professional...

I think figure out a way to attach the battery connector to a boss style lead, then route it up through the cavity in the middle of the pedal, and tape it down to the side of the pedal, so the treadle doesn't smash it.

I've tryed those adapters in the past and ran into hum with them. It's best to have a nice, neat buffered power supply that is part of the overall circuit within the wah...

You also don't want any stray wiring etc..hanging or being taped around a wah...It works, but it's pretty weak really! :)

I build my own circuit boards and install the external negative tipped jacks,so a guy can use the Boss PSA 120 style adapter..

Just a PM if you need furthers on your wah.

Re: vox wah

I have an old Wah that did not have a power supply and I use a one Spot to power my whole pedalboard. I just bought a battery adapter from visual sound and it adapts right to the one spot. Clean easy and col=mpletely silent!

http://www.visualsound.net/vss.htm

This will show you the one spot and the additianl adapters available.
