VVT vs VTT?

I'd skip the switches and do volume, tone, spin-a-split; way more versatile than just splitting a humbucker, IMHO.

I agree that I'll probably skip "splitting", but I really want "parallel." Invaders become a whole 'nother pup when in parallel. It's one of my favorite Duncan sounds.

I may reverse the toggle and S1 functions. S1 for parallel of both. Mini-toggle for phase.

That's the fun thing about guitars...you can change just about anything in them that you want.

And I've just about decided to use a Liberator for the master volume, that's been sitting around for a long time. I'm getting to be an old man, and sometime in the future, this will be someone else's guitar. The Liberator will allow fast and simple pup changes even with this complex wiring scheme.

I just gotta see if all this will fit in the cavity. :eyecrazy:

-MV/NV/T Master volume to act like normal, neck volume to “set a preset neck clean” and tone. This resolves the issues of the above but is pretty unique.

This one is problematic, IME. The Master and Neck volume interact, making it darker than you expect or want when either is turned lower than 10. Every Gretsch guitar I've played had this problem. Probably needs to have an additional treble bleed circuit on each volume? (Haven't tried that, don't know if it will work or cause new problems.)

The guitar I’m thinking about this on is an EMG loaded one . :D

But yeah, seems like a 1M pot might be necessary.

v/v/t. one switch for pup selection, one for splits, one for phase. at least thats what id do

Totally VVT, or Vol/Bass/Treble so you can really dial those Invaders in

Then 3-way switch, series/parallel, and coil split, and the S1 in the volume for both pickups! I've never used it but sounds like you may want the option and you're the wiring guru, so you can make it happen!
