I've had these Five/2's in one of my Telecasters for a while now, for anyone who doesn't know they're designed with both A2 & A5 pole pieces (A5's for the bass strings, A2's for the higher strings) the end result being a very balanced sounding pickup... If you'd like a more in depth description I'm sure you can figure out how to find some sound clips since we are technically already on the site?
Personally I think they're pretty great pickups (their sound in switch position 2 is just beautiful & the neck cleans up valve amps quite nicely) but I think I want to try something different? I've been playing Strat's since I was a kid but only started to appreciate Telecasters in the traditional sense over the past 5 years-ish, but these are some of the best I've had a chance to try yet!!!
As for what I'd like in return, I don't really know? I think I probably want to stick with Duncan's but as I don't really have any particular pickup set in mind I'm happy to consider just about anything. Oh, it doesn't have to be any actual set either, just a bridge and neck pup & I do have several different Tele guards so I can be pretty flexible as far as neck pickup choices go....
