Wah issues...

I've had this wah for quite some time, actually found it in my garage so it was probably my fathers from back in the day. When I first inspected it, I saw the 9v battery clip was missing, so I replaced it. Everything was good after that for many years, but recently when. I switch it on, the wah works in both positions but when I turn it off all it does is buzz. I don't mean a little buzz, a giant one and I can't even hear my guitar.


Normal issue? Any suggestion?

Do you mean wah and straight through work and it hums when you power it off? If so that's probably because it needs power to pass a signal or it hums.
It becomes like an unplugged cord.

If you mean ; wah works, straight through doesn't; Look for a broken wire on the switch or leading to it. Other than that you might need a new switch.[ foot stomp - wah on/off ]
