Wah Pedal

Hey, what's up guys and gals. Well, I want to buy a wah pedal and I've seen a couple to choose from at my local guitar center and online stores. My friends tell me to go with the Dunlop Cry Baby Wah Pedal. Would I go wrong here? Any other recommendations are appreciated.

Re: Wah Pedal

have had a 535 (with the tone sweep) for years they can get noisy for recording but they are pretty durable and you can always just spray the pot !

Re: Wah Pedal

The Dimebage Crybaby From Hell is the one I use. It's basically a hotrodded 535q wah. Great range on the sweeps, fully adjustable and it doesn't seem to suck any of my tone (even though it's not true bypass... go figure).

Re: Wah Pedal

I still get along well with my modded Vox 847 that I Put Fulltone stuff into..I've had mine since 93 now..

Hmmm... I have the Dunlop Jimmi Hendrix wah, and I love it. I barely play any hendrix too... might want to give that a try.

Re: Wah Pedal

I use a VOX too, and it seems to have a fair bit more travel than my mates cry baby.

Re: Wah Pedal

I have a Crybaby (Dunlop), I have a vintage crybaby (thomas Organ Co. model), and I have a Vox Clyde McCoy model. I use the Clyde more than the others. It has better bottom end to it, and is not as harsh on the High end.
If money is not an issue I would recomend looking at the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe. I have not personally played with one of these. but a few of the guys here rave about them!
