Wah Trouble (Not working correctly)

I own a crybaby classic ..and well...

the sweep isnt exactly working.

it works, maybe when its about to his the highest point.

thats where i hear a slight sweep.

but its not working correctly!

its a tiny puny sweep, and it wasnt like that before.

You could try rotating the gear by loosening the rack and turning the gear to a slightly different position, lower in pitch, and see if that helps.

Or you have a bad wah pot.

i tried it, it worked for a while, then crakled like a dirty volume knob, and stopped working.

i mean, NO sweep.

the sound altered, it had that mid range boost

but no SWEEP

Replace the wah pot and don't try cleaning it!

I have an extra wah pot out of a Vox 847 if you want it. I have no use for it.
