I have a Plexitone, and I think it destroys every other Marshall-flavored pedal I've ever tried, but I've never tried the Wampler. That's about all I can say.

I have the Carl Martin, a MarvelFX and a Guvner. I've never owned or played the Wampler, so I can't say.

I've had two Plexitones (v1) and a Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe. I owned the Pinnacle for about two days before I dumped it. But I knew that I wouldn't be keeping it within a few seconds of plugging-in.
Anyways... I realize that's not the exact question that you were asking, but that's as close as I get to being able to answer your question. The Bogner La Grange is another awesome plexi-type pedal in the vein of the Plexitone. Personally, I prefer my Friedman BE-OD and will likely be selling my Plexitone. But the Plexitone is a purer Marshall clone than the Friedman. Like all Friedman stuff, it's got that Friedman flavor (which I love). The adjustable boost feature on the Carl Martin is also something that the Friedman lacks. I wish Dave would do a BE-OD v2 with boost.

The Marvel is head and shoulders above the others I tried. The only other simulation that is more accurate is my PSA-1, but that needs a compressor in the loop to sound like real tubes. Marvel is the only pedal I've been able to use just by itself and it sounds like my hand wired Marshalls. It's not leaving my board soon.
