I'd like to point out that whatever is written in French makes NO SENSE Whatsoever. The grammar is totally wrong. To be honest it's quite a turn off for me.

Very cool stuff from the 2006 line. With all the quality in those, its gonna be a debate whether its worth it to buy a USA model anymore.

right now, for me, DK2 > DK1 .. maple neck, black sharkies, black binding, you can change the trem......

Yeah that natural fretboard with the black inlays = sharp! I'd definately pick one up and like you said change the trem and you'd be good.

Hmmm, lots of french words in a row that essentially mean nothing ... Isn´t that normal? :laugh2:

Wow... thats what i call GAS. Finally they upgrade one of their lines; i was wondering what they would do for this year. Thats some excellent news right there!

Re: want a maple fretboard shred guitar? J/C content

And the best thing is: there´s still more to come at NAMM, esp. in the USA lines... :32:

Re: want a maple fretboard shred guitar? J/C content

the USA line will be expanded at NAMM .. plus there are a couple totaly SICK custom shop pieces being made for NAMM

but i already know one i'm not very much interested in.. the fishook kelly LOL

i want to see a kelly star though :32:

LOL

the demartinis maybe, but dont hold me on it.

but these are imports and if you ask me, they'll stay in the below 1k range.. retail probably around 700 to 800

I wouldn't pay more than $500 for that guitar (if I had it to blow) and I couldn't imagine anyone paying $999 or up for it.

which one you talking about?

DK2M? or the demartini?

if it retails for 700, you can haggle it down and strike a deal for 450 and it wouldnt be a miracle either

some people got the blue & orange ghost flames DK2 (which has a list price of $1050) for 600.

solid finishes for a dk2 go for a little under 700. and if you go to a real dealer, you can get them for a very nice price.

now, i dont know how much the prices will change, but if you ask me, it will be cheaper to buy the guitar as is, than buy the guitar and then buy new pickups for it

I was talking about the DeMartini. Is that a real name anyway?
