want a maple fretboard shred guitar? J/C content

Re: want a maple fretboard shred guitar? J/C content

Man, that DK2M is something. Aside from the Floyd Rose, it's got everything else I could want in a guitar and I can live with another Floyd.

Thanks for the GAS.

the DeMartini's are NOT import guitars! they are custom shop made USA guitars. the LIST is $3200 which puts them in the (roughly) $1900 sale price range.

i already have my eye on a bomber graphic DeMartini :)

I was talking about the DeMartini. Is that a real name anyway?
demartini??

as in warren demartini.. RATT guitarist.

sorry dude, but you got no clue what you are talking about. that guitar is going to be going for at LEAST as much as the bullseye reissues. most likely for a couple of benji more.. and it is going to be worth every penny

I'd like to point out that whatever is written in French makes NO SENSE Whatsoever. The grammar is totally wrong. To be honest it's quite a turn off for me.
Maybe it's French- Canadian.............you know how picky you people are; if it's not PERFECT it's not recognized:laugh2:

A lot of celebrities change their names, DeMartini just doesn't sound like a real name. I do know that if someone out there like yourself is willing to pay for a guitar like that, then it'll be made. But personally I wouldn't waste my time with it.

So what would separate the SL3 from the SL1 now that the SL3 has had many upgrades to it?

now, i dont know how much the prices will change, but if you ask me, it will be cheaper to buy the guitar as is, than buy the guitar and then buy new pickups for it

If you like JB's. I've often wondered about this subject of matter. Why is it that any guitar that comes with real Duncans from the factory is either a JB, or in some rare instances a '59? Does SD cut some kind of deal for JB's in bulk? Hahahaha. Or is it that guitar companys are just afraid to actually do something different? Or that they're too lazy or cheap (seems rather inexpensive as far as R&D stuff goes but who knows?) to actually try different Pup's from SD's line and figure out what sounds best in the guitar? And I know there are those of you who say that the JB is the best all around pickup, however, most guitars that come with the JB in it aren't all arounders. They're for harder music... and there are much better Pup's in my opinion to do just that. And a lot of those guitars seem to be naturally a little more focused towards highs and mids with out the help of the JB.... which by the way was still a little thin for my tastes in my old McCarty standard (all mohagany). Just my opinion. Sorry to jack the thread but feel free to let me know what you think on this situation.

I like that the KVX10 finally gets a floyd :D

I noticed that, too. Maybe now I'll finally get to slap my spare DK2 bound neck on one and try to convince myself I don't want a real KV2.
