Yikes, a refret on a vintage Maple neck. Doable, but many great players retire thier Strats at that point- totally different than a Rosewood baord.Being it 's Chicago Exchanged, that thing woulda been snapped up long since by many deep pockets on their waiting list of it was so desirable especially being the "grail" '57.

The only thing that could ever make me care about these old "Excaliburs" is the fact that other people attach unwarranted value on them as some kind of holy relics, so I could potentially sell it for a lot more in future. I don't care in the slightest about impressing someone with a guitar that was made in a certain year....as if Jimi Hendrix once blessed it or used it in a seance, etc.....
