NEED: Seymour Duncan Lil Demon (singlecoil housing Screamin Demon)
TRADES:
1) Fender Custom Shop CS 69
bridge single (just the bridge pup): '07 date, AY signed by Abigail Ybarra, CS sticker, grey base, cloth leads, black wire wind - REAL DEAL, not the mexcustom 69 stock in upmarket MIMs. No longer available signed, the unspellable AY lady (pretty much Fender Custom Shop's MJ counterpart) transferred and semiretired afaik.
2) DiMarzio Airzone - black Air Zone. Open coil, clean, not pickscratched, not abused, not corroded. "Aired" version of DMZ Tone Zone.... Get your shred on! Or djent, according to some youtube demos. Also, some people say it's DMZ's closest match to the Duncan JB... Add'l benefit: small, compact, thin, probably easy to fit into problematic cavities & direct mounts.
3) MIM Fender Standard Stratocaster (Mexistrat) SSS set : 2001 "NOS" (unused). Pulled immediately from a guitar that was bought (un)"used" after a decade in its case, stickers still on, likely a neglected gift. Sounded good, almost as powerful as a 95 American Std I had at the time, were removed not for their sound but because the guitar was purchased for an artist replica project (Kurt Cobain's black "vandalism" sticker gigging strat)
4) Duncan Designed hb108 (aka Duncan Performer / Duncan Detonator) - pulled from Jackson RR3 japan. Clean. "Looks like an Invader, built like a Distortion under the hood". Popular for modding with A8 in the downtuned metal community, also seems well loved by Kiss fans and 80s speed/thrash metal guys,
