Want sparkling chimey hb with oomph

let's have some suggestions. Thinking about brige humbuckers or minis. Some key words here would be sparkly, chimey, ringing, singing, shimmering, sort of like the sound one may get from those mini hbs in gibson firebirds, only I'd like more output than those pikups give. I want somthing that really pushes an amplifier, some real oomph in the bottom.I suppose i may have to compromise some output to have the qualities I described, i'm not sure.
I tend to gravitate toward hot humbuckers for their sensitivity and ability to push hard, but these pups tend to give more in the way of brittle ,crispy,crunchy,crusty tones which I'm looking to avoid.
Any ideas?

The Duncan Jazz humbucker is the one I'd suggest...it's sparkly and sounds great.

But it's not overwound...it's more like a vintage paf in terms of output. It'll push your amp plenty though.

Jolly uses one and gets a great overdriven tone with killer harmonics.

The Demon sparkles, has good lows, and pushes harder than a PAF.

The Custom 5 is also a good option.

Why don`t you try Full Shred? High output and very articulate.

Like people said, Custom 5 or the Deamon could fit, but you could also go creative and try hybrids...let`s say Jazz/Full shred or Jazz/Custom 5.

Never thought I'd be on the forum long enough to see the FS as the flavor of the week. But it won't meet his needs for bottom.

Somebody make a FS/59 hybrid!

Oddly enough, my PG+/C5 combo doesn't sparkle as much as my Demon.

If you want chime without the hot humbucker brittleness maybe you actually want the SSL-3. Its a HOT single that has the chimeyness you'll never get from a hb but overwound enough to take out the ice pick. It has plenty of bottom and being a singlecoil, its tight. Like you said , you may have to compromise.
