Want to hear some great guitar playing?

I’ll be honest. Although I bought his records, I always thought that Gary Moore overplayed. I still think so. But overplaying has never sounded so good! The Jazz stuff at around the 4 minute mark really surprised me. The guy was way more versatile than I thought.

The man was a monster. Still one of the most under rated players of all time. I dig a lot of what Bonamassa does but when you hear Mr. Moore its like hearing student vs. Master. Just saying..man deserves a lot more respect than he gets. I love that he can rip your head off and then crush you with a slow blues that leaves me wondering how he kept that side of his playing bottled up for so long before Still got the Blues. Unreal talent. Sorely missed.

I love Gary but yeah sometimes he goes overboard

Overall though he is a monster player and really well versed

Well 'tasteful restraint' is way overrated imo.. :lmao:

All my fave players go overboard & Gary Moore's no exception. Such a fantastic player :bigthumb:
