Want to make my PRS S2 Starla to sound more like a Les Paul, wich pick ups?

Hi, question, wich pickups will make my PRS Starla sounding much closer to my Les Paul standard (burstbucker pro's). The PRS is a nice sounding guitar, now I got Suhr Thornbuckers in it wich are great pickups but I want to try to change the voice of the guitar more, now it's more sounding like a Gretsch/PRS type of guitar with a little bit of a PAF sound. I want it to give it more output more mids more body. The output is now far less than the Les Paul (much more clean headroom) Body of the guitar is mahogany no maple cap (like an Gibson SG), neck scale 25". I'm reading a lot of good stuff about the 59/hybrid pickup for brigde and a 59 in the neck. I'm playing lots of stuff, 90% on the bridge pickup from pop to rock, no metal. I hope you can give me some feedback. Thanks!

Pearly Gates set. I have a set in my Core Mira and it is very LP like, a total workhorse.

Keep in mind that the PRS has a longer scale length. So it’s always going to have more harmonic content (twang) than a Gibson.

I like to embrace the vibe of each guitar I have instead of making them sound alike.

There ya go, all ya gotta do is buy a Les Paul. More is better!

Burstbucker pros aren't all that hot, much less so than the 59/custom. They are pretty bright, though. Too bright for me, But I do like the A2 based burstbuckers. The Burstbucker 3 is the hottest of the Burstbucker series and is thicker than the pros. That combination should help address what you need from your PRS. If you still need more top end, swapping to an A5 magnet will add to the top and bottom a bit, but will scoop the mids some.

Whole Lotta Humbucker neck and Brobucker bridge might add a bit of creamy thickness to a PRS. There is only a quarter inch difference in scale between the two guitars and the wood is similar, so it shouldn't be impossible to your Starla sound more like a Les Paul.

If you want an even heavier tone, you could put on thicker strings and/or tune it to Eb as well.
