Wanted: Odds and Sods

I would like a neck Motherbucker with the Zebra Bobbin, this would be used to compliment my Bridge pickup in my Les Paul copy OR a nice PAF sounding pickup Dimarzio, SD, etc to compliment my mother bucker in the bridge.

I also require a Three way telecaster switch, preferably of the round type not the enclosed box, If it's any use to anyone I can swap for a brand new 4 way switch which is High quality, I bought it from Axetec UK by mistake.

Could do with some bar magnets for magnet swapping, Alnico 2, 5 and possibly 8 can be considered.

Any dead humbuckers which people cannot be bothered to fix, I will gladly purchase these off you as I am now starting to experiment with different pickups and coils and what have you

The toughest one will be this.

I need a 24 fret Strat or super strat style neck to suit a Steinberger Spirit strat type body, does not matter if it's left or right handed as both have their virtues. Not really bothered if it is Maple/Maple or Maple/Rosewood. let me know details if you have anything as I will need to check compatibility with the body.

cheers

I love this line. Reminded me of Withnail and I. :D

Can probably furnish several broken/naff/dud pickups for you to snap the copper off.

Ditto an unsprung three-way selector switch. Failing that, a discarded YM-30 (eight contacts in a line) type.

Got two A2 magnets from a Gibson 490R but I was saving them for something (I theenk!)

The only 24 fret neck I have laying about is from an Ibanez RG "project" (read: pile of bits wrapped in a gigbag). What officiandos call an Original Square Neck Joint version.

NOTE - I will accept a pair of Fender MIM neck pickup mounting screws as part payment. ;)

Re: Wanted: Odds and Sods

Just a mo'. Steinberger Spirit neck? Surely, the Steinberger Spirit is a headless through neck design. If you need the neck, in effect, you would need the whole guitar. :scratchch

Pics required, I think.

Re: Wanted: Odds and Sods

Pics will go up at some point, the issue I have is I hate headless guitars but providing I have a headed guitar with either a locking nut or locking tuners I should be absolutey fine. The body and entire bridge system came from my dads guitar tutor who sold me the lot for about 100 quid.

Re: Wanted: Odds and Sods

Also leave it with me on the screws, I'll see what I can do. Do you mean the two screws for a neck pickup or the four for the ring?

I mean the two screws from the Fender MIM Telecaster neck/rhythm pickup that I mailed to you in mid 2012. I suspect that you will have had the copper off that by now. I am getting the MIM Tele into shape to sell. My simplest option is my two "spare" Fender AVRI '52 single coils.

Re: Wanted: Odds and Sods

I still have them somewhere, will find them, I think they maybe currently on my tele though as they fitted straight into the GFS neck pup nicely, I can get them out though as I have plenty of spares.

Is there anything else on your list???

also message me your address cause iv lost it, lol

Re: Wanted: Odds and Sods

It's okay. Leave your GFS pickup adjusted exactly as it is. The Tele I'm going to sell can go with a P90 Stack.
