-Actually, I wonder how similar our techniques are. I do a lot of stuff with pick and fingers. I also do the fingerstyle/wang bar in palm thing a lot. A friend likened it to Michael Lee Firkins, but really I'm thinking Jeff Beck. Might have to get the video camera out...

That's my next move. Trying to keep bands up and running is exhausting, and a lot more difficult. I really want to start doing like Kevlar does, and just self produce instrumental CD's with a great drummer and myself playing all the music, and occasionally bring in a hotrod bassist for some tracks.
This track was more of a metally soundtrack type thing I knocked out quickly, but I want to do a CD of stuff that sounds more like Robben Ford, early Gibbons, and Hellecasters......with a dobro slide track or two thrown in.
That's the stuff I do best. I left the shred stuff behind me 14 years ago, mostly because I don't dig the style anymore.

Very cool tune! It took Joe's playing through a Valvetronix to motivate me to finally sign up at soundclick so I could hear how it sounds. I'm impressed!
