Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

Re: Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

Cool, I'll definitely check those out if the v30 in my orange ever craps out.

Re: Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

Hard to beat for the current price MP. :bigthumb:

Thanks for the good word Sludge. Good to see you. ;)

Re: Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

check out the shipping charges. I put in my zip code and it says that shipping will cost $59, this better be a mistake, since the whole speaker costs $21. I could get an actual vintage 30 for about that price

Re: Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

Well I put a pair of v30 replicas in my 4x12 with 2 g12t-75. I'm pretty happy about it. Then I sell the other two G12ts and suddenly I have a better tone at no cost at all. My cab has a certain sparkle to it that it didn't have before. They added a nice sweet top to my sound, and it sounds less dull now.

Shipping costs: US $59.24
UPS Ground
Service to 99712, United States

I hope the shipping calculator is just messed up, because it definatly does not cost anywhere near that much to ship a speaker to alaska.

Re: Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

The shipping charges seem to be about 15-20. I'm waiting out for a Greenback clone to throw into my Crate V32 Palomino.

Re: Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

Ordered a couple of Classic Leads. Maybe I'll pull the V30s out of my closed-back Avatar...

Re: Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

Re: Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

I'd love to hear those. I love the V30 replicas. Makes me want to try the Classic Leads.
For just over $60/pair shipped to the mountain time zone I didn't figure I could go too wrong based on the raves I've heard about both the Vintage and Classic Lead clones. As long as they're not total junk if I don't like 'em I'll probably be able to get my $$$ out after the prices go up next month.

That said, if they sound reasonably close to the real thing, I'll keep 'em. I have two cabs with CL80s and love 'em both.

Re: Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

I have a quad of the "Classic Lead 12's" that I put into a Line 6 4x12. They sound KILLER. I love 'em....

Re: Warehouse Guitar Speakers VINTAGE speaker

I'm thinking about trying them out. This guy's business has pretty much exploded.
