Warm up exercise (classical approach)

Yo!! :)

I came across this thing yesterday when I was fiddelin'. It came just into my fingers and I think it's great to warm up or to build your muscles in the hand because of the stretch and the coordination between both hands..you could try alternate or economic picking.

It's on the 3 lower strings only

d------------------------|---------4------------4--
a--------4-----------4---|-2---5-----5---2---5----5
E--2--6----6--2--6-----6-|-------------------------

repeat this pattern 1 time and move to this one

-----------------------|--------7--------7------
--------7-------9--7---|-5--9------5--9----9--7
--5--9----9--5-------9-|-----------------------

repeat it 1 time and then this finale

d--------6----|---------9-----|----------12------|---------15----
a-5---8----8--|-8---11----11-|--11---14-----14--|-14--17-----17
E-------------|---------------|-------------------|---------------

I devided the arpeggio changes with " | " I think it's easier to read and practise..it doesn't mean that it's the end. I try to record it today as an example.

Hope you like it!

Re: Warm up exercise (classical approach)

You're welcome!

I found 2 potential students. One of them should come over here in the beginning of May and one student could start in the end of the year..but I'm not a teacher yet, didn't give any lessons :D
