warmer strings for phat cat pickups

I installed a pair of phat cats in my ibanez artist. the artist has a maple on mahogany body with a set neck. I now have ghs 10's in the guitar and the bridge position is painfully bright. I am going to try a pack of Daddario on hand. what brands can make it warmer?

I've heard Fender strings are warm. I bought a pack but haven't installed them yet.

I never really have thought about strings being warm or cold. It seems like a smaller factor, but I guess it's a factor nonetheless.

Hmm... my Everly Rockers sound great with everything.

I just don't associate the Phat Cats with being overly bright. Try bringing down the pup height on the treble side a bit. See if you can ajust the height some to tame it.

Maple neck perhaps?
