Warmoth 7/8 Bodies and Necks!

Hi All,

Just a quick heads up to let you know that Warmoth has done a soft launch of our new 7/8 S and T series bodies and necks. They are currently a "call in to order product" but we should have the new catalog pages up soon for all the details and the online builders representing them. They are 24 fret, 24 3/4" scale, with most options available. They make for very nice builds....I know..I got one! Here's a couple put together....and they're loaded with Seymour Duncan pickups I might add...

AWESOME- I think my dream of owning a Kramer Nightswan have come true

damn, I might have to get one someday.. a 24 fret Tele or Strat is what ive been craving, and those swirl dot inlays look awesome.

They are blast to play especially if you play solos a lot. The access to the scales above the 12th fret is fantastic. I have my own humbucker Strat style one with a Floyd that rocks, then I put together the two below and they actually sounded true to their 25 1/2" scale cousins, except easier to bend strings on and better access to the whole neck like I mentioned. Being slightly smaller too they feel pretty sporty.

Is it possible to get that new headstock cut on a regular 22-fret neck? I dig that cut...

I've been wondering that same thing. as it's not the first time I've seen that headstock on a Warmoth guitar.

From reading the Warmoth forums, it's referred to as the "warhead;" my understanding is that it can be made now on most Warmoth necks, but it's a call-to-order thing until they update their website.

Before you had to pay extra to have it hand-done, but now it's in the CNC machines.

EDIT: here's the actual quote:
Yes it can be done on a standard 25 1/2 neck. This use to be a custom peghead that was cut by hand, but now they are CNC cut. The peghead should be up on the site in the future. I do know that it will not be offered on every neck construction that we offer at least not yet (ie conversion, full size bass, tilt back).

Yes, Hot Rails and they DO sound great. Just a really nice, balanced sounding set that covers a lot of tonal ground. I almost had to make that Tele mine after I played on it. lol..

Ah I thought you meant you built those 2 guitars for yourself at Warmoth. Sad to see them go huh? haha.

Yeah, that's a really neat axe.

So... how about those headstocks? Is that an available option now?
