Warmoth neck at 800.00

Re: Warmoth neck at 800.00

Woah, that is more than I would ever pay for a guitar neck...but its a beautiful one for sure!

Re: Warmoth neck at 800.00

any material called Brazilian rosewood on eBay is probably a lie. There are lots of other rosewood (and rosewood like) species that look like what BRW is presumed to look like but unless you get your detective kit out, you have no way of really telling.

I'm thinking there had better be complete documentation or .gov may confiscate it....

Re: Warmoth neck at 800.00

I'd much rather have a rosewood neck with an ebony board. I also wouldn't want to pay so much more for rosewood just because it currently holds a mythical status being a "banned" wood to use. It may be pretty, but I don't want an $800+ neck confiscated, and I'd much rather pay less for something identical minus the grain pattern that won't get confiscated.

Wow dude. This is True Temperament money....

Imagine a 1 piece Ebony Neck with True Temperament. How much would that cost? 3000?

If i had the money to spend on stuff like this I would do it. And then i'd carry it around and show it off.... Or i'd put it on a squier, and play Smoke on the Water way out of tune, at the music store, with a buzzy tone through a fender frontman amp....

What's the deal with Brazilian? I would assume someone wouldn't get their '59 Les Paul or '39 Martin confiscated...

Taylor and Martin are still doling out their (extremely) limited supply in appropriately priced limited edition runs.
