yep I think their contest code is pretty clunky.
I haven't had a lock up but I've had the page not load, and half the time the "Like" vote bits won't load.

maybe they are getting a lot of traffic with the contest and that's clogging it up? :onder:

Yep.

Everyone should be aware that Warmoth's forum (run by a mod who is heavily influenced by a 15 year old and other youth) has done this kind of guitar giveaway popularity contest before on their site with very questionable and biased results.

I still think all y'all should keep your horse in the race, but I'm not bothering... aside from the aforementioned Warmoth forum kiddie BS, nobody (read: "majority of population; which is right handed") gives a flying f00k about left handed guitars.

Oh yeah, and I'll wager 100 bananas that the winner will be some uber-gaudy flame top... the kids over there love that look.

It's deja-vu all over again...

Yeah. it's pretty obvious that some extravagant, gaudy thing with every option known to man is gonna win.

I went for something classy, low-key, and relatively simple (though it does have its unique characteristics). And I am absolutely floored how it is pretty much the only one in the competition that followed that philosophy. I'm also floored by how many of the entries aren't even complete. There are so many entered that don't have bridges, knobs, etc.

yep a lot of the entrees are reminding me of that episode of the simpsons where homer designs a car :omg:

I am digging some of the entrees with lipstick pickups, not so much the entrees with every kind of pickup.

I am wondering what Warmoth is going to do when the winner with the most votes by a mile is a black strat body with no pickups, no bridge, only a Tom Delong volume knob??????????

Last night my entree link was red flagged and blocked by Facebook management, the link is back now but it makes me wonder if someone was actually a big enough A-hole to be sabotaging entrees to try to win the contest :sad:
