While I did it with my '04 Korina Hamer Vector and my Czech made Dean Korina Vs, I was scared the most by the Deans. :eyecrazy:

The Deans are 1.5 inches or so thick and the Hamer is 1.75 inches or so thick. Sits straight up just like Tom's do. :headbang: Any V should do it.

I just checked a few other Vs I own including a 52 inch long Cherry Sunburst Flametop Dean Korean made Bass #11/25 from 2004 Open House weekend. Stands up straight and tall. :cool2: :eyecrazy: :scratchch

You can stand a Flying V on it's wingtip and it will stand up by it's self on a level surface, they are that balanced of a design.

WARNING!!!! ONLY if the strap button is NOT on the tip. I will shoot a shot later of this. :eek: :eyecrazy:

They stand up horizontally on the bottom edge very well. :cool2: Just like the sig picture only standing up.

That is a great looking guitar huh? I decided to give No Doubt a listen just because of the Hamer angle way back with thier first release. I do like the tunes for the most part. Dont Speak is a cool song. Tom gets kinda funky and crunchy all at once sometimes. :cool2:

Tom's Korina(Limba) Standard is part of a run of 100 from 1997. Brad Whitford has number #10. Here is a shot from Minneapolis 12/10/2003 I took.

The trifecta scared me more. I even shut off the ceiling fan. :eyecrazy::ok:

It was fun to be silly with the guitars. :cool2: Of course, each got a good 10 minute play with the Hamer REALLY showing me why it is THE BEST guitar I own. The Duncan '59 in the neck slot is Freakin' WONDERFUL. :approve: The Antiquities in that Dean are as Creamy as they are visually. MAN!! that was a good $90 spent for the pair of them.

On a side note, I'm sad my cat died in January but for sure I wouldn't have done the V stand with her around. :naughty:
