Stratoblaster Tone Meister
I did some cool stuff today inside of my old BF Fender Pro Reverb amp..I've been playing through it all day,and so tonight I decided to see how well the BF 2x12 Valvetronix sound compared to my Fender amp...
I really needed to hook the VT up to the open backed 2X12 Fender cab with a set of Webers, but I Left the VT plugged into it's matching closed back 2x12 Celestion Neo-dogs....
As expected...The Pro Reverb has this beautiful complex, open tone, the mids are perfect and the lows are warm and full....
The VT has the vibe of the Pro Reverb and it does sound like a BF amp,but it's tighter and more 1 dimentional....The VT's BF tones are great tones, but they don't quite sound like my PR amp..The VT would sound alot better through the Fender cab though and I thought the EQing of the VT was great and really gets the BF "vibe" well....
The VT has so many cool models and features and I put it up against a really good sounding BF amp of mine....It's only one tone comparison also.... :burnout:
