Vasshu the humanoid typhoon
Unseen
But somehow I stumbled over this RS 135 with a pointy headstock.
An early 87 transition model before they where made in Korea.
It is a FujiGen Gakki made guitar.
Everything is original, it even has the spare washers for the vibrato arm, the extra serial number stickers, allen wrenches for the trussrod and saddles.
Org hardcase and the old guitar cord.
It is 30 years old, the frets have a slight wear, the fretboard itself has alot of wear, this baby was played alot....
Bought it of a young man, that had inherited from his father.
Funny enough I bought my first Ibanez Roadstar Comet in 87...also in February.
Only dawned on me when I got home.
Anyways cleaned it up, dressed the frets, made the vibrato useable, they usually hang sharp if you do not work on them!
Only thing I did was change the Super 7 singlecoils with Wilde Micro Coils.
Also will drill a hole for a cylinder jack, never liked jacks mounted on the pickguard.
Mounted 10-46's and raised the action quite alot(I do not like low action much)
Straightend the neck alittle, also shimmed the neck for a more useable angle.
Quite like this old thing.
Lots of life when played, good tone up and down the neck.
Have a black body of a similar RG 135 same year and all, it just misses its neck, think I'll get a maple one for that, maybe on the older blade designed ones instead.
