wattage differences in speakers?

So what really is the difference between a 25 watt greenback and G12T-75?

I know one can handle more wattage than the other but what differences would there be tonally?

The higher the wattage speaker the cleaner the speaker is generally. Alot of times players will use 25's and 30's straight thru and no effects and then use a pair of 75's for stereo effects.The 75's dont distort the effected signal as much. The 75's will be alittle louder and handle more bass.Lead players like 25's and 30's.Malmsteen uses 25's, Van Halen uses 30's and 75's for effects.25's are alittle warmer sounding and break up sooner than 30's. I personally like the 30's the most but each speaker has its place.

75's may be better for the real heavy distorted death metal because of all the gain and distortion it can keep it focused better.
