:smoker:Good afternoon to my friends at SD Forum!! I have a Epiphone Les Paul 1960 Tribute that I am building, my thought are that I really like the vintage look of a Waverly stlye tuner. I am looking at the Grover Sta-Tite 97-18 or 98's I belive the 98's are a little smaller not by much. my question is will they fit and will they work? I just dont feel like buying them and then they wont work and have to sell them off. So any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!! :smack:
THANKS

I'm pretty sure they will work, but to me...the keystone Klusons, and kidney bean Grovers are the ones that look "right" on a Les Paul.

I agree that the Klusons, look really good! It came with the Grover 106 locking that uses a set screw at 6 o'clock. I want to try and use the same set screw and only have to drill one more hole at 12. The Klusons will give that option as well. Its just I have never really seen any with the waverly tuners, and I think they look really Hot! Good input!! Thanks

I would get out the calipers and make sure. Stewmac posts the dimensions so you can check.
