Waves GTR Solo FREE to Download!

Been forever since last time I logged in. I'm in a really busy phase with school right now so there's not too much time to hang around on forums and such... too bad Hope everything is well with all you guys!

Anyway I just had to log in to let you know this so that you don't miss it.

I talked to the marketing sector at Waves Audio. They have this quite amazing kind of deal that they asked me to post about on my GuitarLounge blog (and no I do not get paid in any way for this so it isn't spam).

They are currently giving away one-year test licenses for free of their amp and fx emulation software, GTR Solo. You find the links at my blog, www.guitarlounge.tk

I haven't had time to test it out myself yet because of my busy schedule, but I wanted to let you bro's know about it as well. The word is that it's better than NI's GuitarRig.

I pulled this last night and installed. Pretty cool overall and probably fairly useful for clean stuff (though I know plenty of folks will like the heavier sounds). The speaker and mic combos are slick. I dunno, you guys who use emulators all the time will probably have better input... This is my first emulator I've really tried being pretty old school with my gear. Definitely worth downloading to work with it for a year free.


I just have yet to find anything that substitutes for an amp baking output tubes period - at least to my ears.
