Weber Beam Blocker

I really like the sound I'm getting from my amp when I'm at a 45 degree angle (the way a mic would be set up). But, when I stand in front of the cabinet (slanted, with V30s) it sounds thin. Would a Weber Beam Blocker help to make the amp sound good at every angle? Would the 45 degree angle sound change drastically? Thanks!

Re: Weber Beam Blocker

just make a cross with two strips of duct tape over each of your speakers. If you like the sound, try the beam blocker.

Re: Weber Beam Blocker

I have 2 weber beam blockers for sale that are almost new. $25 shipped in the US.
I have 1 of each version for 12 inch speakers cuz I wasnt sure what to get. It works. I just bought some new speakers that dont need them. Vintage 30s and g12t75 speakers are in need of the beam blockers. I tried the duct tape thing and it doesnt dissapate the highs it just bounces them back. The beam blocker is made from a speaker cone and it is a mirror image of the cone and counteracts the highs at the same rate they are given off from the speaker. The duct tape will give an idea of what beam blocking does but it is different.
