This is a USA, Paw Paw, Michigan made Wechter Pathmaker Elite Custom Acoustic. I had this guitar custom built by Abe and his crew back in 1997. I hand-picked all the woods personally from Abe's stock and oversaw all of the building process.

This beautiful acoustic features:

* Sitka Spruse top
* Flamed Maple rim and back
* Ebony Fretboard/Bridge
* Fishman on board Preamp
* Abalone inlays on the body/peghead
* MOP inlayed logo
* 5-piece flamed maple neck
* Natural curly maple binding
* This is the 1st Blueburst Wechter to ever be produced! Abe and I came up with this color as a custom order
* Plush green crushed velvet HSC
* Original factory build sheet

These guitars sell new with these options for over $2500. This has been played gently in my home only....and is in near mint condition!!!

No Dissapointments...it has low action and sounds wonderful!!!

Very nice Wechter!!! I have one of the imports Pathmaker Deluxe Thinline that Sweetwater had that deal for $99 last year during Black Friday. My order got canceled but was offered a black thinline for $159 and I took it. Brentrocks can you post a close up of the Fishman preamp? Reason I ask is I didn't know the Fishman preamp was around that long ago in 1997. I got a special bonus with my Wechter as they sent me one of the upgraded ones with the Fishman preamp instead of the Artec ones that were standard on the model I got. Also the hardshell case is a nice fitting case for this guitar. Classy guitar company if you ask me. IIRC all the necks are now Plek'ed not sure if they did this in 1997 or if there was such a thing that long ago.
