Weird APH-1 Question

I ordered a couple of pups from Guitar Center a few days after Christmas (big mistake, I know, but I had a $50 gift card. What was I supposed to do?). I wanted zebra, so of course they had to special order them. I ordered a '59 for the bridge and an Alnico 2 Pro for the neck. :fingersx: I received a bridge version of both. :banghead:

Now, before I take the bridge A2P back and wait 2 more weeks for a neck pup to arrive, I thought I would ask anyone here if they have ever used an A2P bridge in the neck slot. The DC resistance and resonant peak for the bridge are fairly close to those of the neck, so I thought that it may just sound like a higher output version of the neck pup.

If anyone has any experience with this, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

i would imagine it would be somewhat dark and muddy, you wont get the thickness the neck version.

I also recommend you order from www.gtrheaven.com, since you live in tennesee you'll get it next day if you order ground from there. Or you could drive there if you got the free time.
