I’m going to guess that this is a top loader, Floyd style. Still, I would think that square blocks would be a more ideal solution over a round type.
Then again, how do you set the intonation if this a Floyd type loader?
I’m also guessing that it’s aftermarket saddles of some sort. I would think that if it were stock, it would match the chrome plate...?
Then again, wtf do I know. Lol

Yes, stock Fender Floyd Rose Bridge from the Deluxe Strat Plus Series for a period of time. You cut the ball ends off and lock them in like a standard Floyd. LSR Roller Nut and locking tuners.
That Yellow Strat is a dead ringer for mine!
Unfortunately they rust, only cosmetic but still. The tuners are satin so the saddle lbs are satin to match also.

Doesn't sound so bad if it's just a matter of shoving a screwdriver in the cavity while you move the saddle (after relieving string tension.)

Just don’t change string gauges and you don’t have to intonate. Super quick string changes. The LSR can get gummed up reducing the tuning stability.

Turns out they work well, BUT - they are not height adjustable. If the arch is right - no problem. But the D string saddle is lower than any other saddle. Makes getting the action low all the way across a problem. To fix it, I would have to take the whole shebang apart and juggle the saddles, or just grind down the bottom of the other 5 saddles.....risky, to say the least. I supposed I could shim up the D string saddle?
Since the client just wants a fret level and setup - that's what he gets.

All true points. The standard bridges are more adjustable and easier to do so. The shim should work. Since they came on one style of Strat it’s was technically “correct”, but even Player preference may want it different.
Are his frets hammered? Mine are quite worn, I guess it’s a 23 year old guitar and it was my main neck for years.

At least that guitar should have micro tilt to deal with the action somewhat. I assume the bridge can float like a regular Floyd? The posts look like American Standard, but they should still go up/down, right?

Yes, Micro Tilt and the posts can be raised/lowered. I can get it dialed right in either floating or flush.
