Today I drove over to sam ash and bought the mesa boogie mark IV. Me and my dad drove there on tuesday to work out a qoute....it was $1700 used and we got it down to $1225 plus tax which comes out to $1299.99
Fantastic price for an awesome amp.
So far....i'm in love.
I love every part about this amp... from the 5 band EQ to all the stuff in the back I don't know about yet. I played it tonight at Church and it really cut through the mix...overall loud.
Only problem with it is that the reverb doesn't seem to work. I'll look into it more and try to see what can be done.

awesome you must be stoked! I am gassing for one sooo bad ( i want a 1x12 wood combo) but the 2x12 for the shiva comes first.. then a strat THEN the mark IV... dammit i need to double dip for a couple of weeks..

what kind of speakers are you using with it? What kind of tones are you using it for? & what's it like compared to what you used to play through?
