Well, it's finally finished

Here is the final result of the body swap for my Ibanez RG-120 that I began back in November.
RG-120 with mahogany body, fixed bridge with Graph Tech string saddles and through body loading. Three way switch with an RCA4SH-6n in a Triple Shot in the neck paired with a TB-15 in a Triple Shot in the bridge. 500k volume and tone with an 0.047 Orange Drop cap on the tone. Dunlop Strap locks.

I was pleased at how light the guitar is compared with the other body that had a standard tremolo bridge. All that metal adds up quick. It also seems more resonant that before, which is what I was hoping.

I have never heard such a bright neck pickup as the RCA4SH-6n that I have in the neck of this thing. It really seems to jibe with the wood and finish of this axe. The split sounds that I get out of the Triple Shots are fantastic. I'll have to record a sound track post haste.
The TB-15 Alternative 8 is HUGE and dark, with just the right amount of top. Running clean in single coil (screw coil) mode is something to be heard. Yes, once again, I'll work on sound clips.

Not sure, it didn't seem as bright in the agathis body, but now it is really clear and chimey. It might be too bright with a maple neck and maple fretboard, but then you could always put a UOA5 in it or an A2.
